Creative technology

Open-source tools

p5.js

Our artwork editor and rendering engine uses p5.js version 1.9.4, created by the p5.js community and licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License 2.1. Source for the version we use is available on GitHub.

Paper Shaders

CMYK Splitter, Image Dither and Gradient Grain adapt techniques from Paper Shaders by Lost Coast Labs, Inc. Licensed under Apache 2.0 and modified for ArtYourData's rendering pipeline.

Powered by Paper Shaders: shaders.paper.design

uiGradients

Some built-in colour gradients are adapted from uiGradients, copyright Indrashish Ghosh, and used under the MIT License.

Typefaces

The ArtYourData interface uses Hubot Sans, copyright 2022 The Hubot Sans Project Authors, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. The artwork text tool also includes locally served typefaces from Google Fonts under their respective open font licences, including Rock Salt under Apache 2.0 for the print signature.

Strava

Connected activity data is provided through the Strava API. Strava and the Strava logo are trademarks of Strava, Inc.

Bicep Press

Our physical artworks are giclée printed by the experts at Bicep Press. Thank you to their team for bringing each piece to paper.

Open-Meteo

Historical weather shown in optional artwork details is weather data by Open-Meteo.com, used under CC BY 4.0. ArtYourData selects and rounds returned readings for display in the artwork.

Pantone

Colour of the Year names are credited to Pantone. Our on-screen RGB swatches are approximations, not Pantone spot-colour matches. PANTONE® is a trademark of Pantone LLC; ArtYourData is not affiliated with or endorsed by Pantone.
